The mechanics, as originally announced:

In honor of the greatest comic book creator to ever walk this Kirby-Krackled Earth, I'm hosting my very first Jack Kirby-Created Character Art Jam!

To join:

1. Draw any character created/co-created by Jack Kirby. It could be as simple as a quick ballpen doodle or as complex as a full-blown oil painting... black and white or colored... it doesn't matter. Just try to depict the character as originally designed by Jack Kirby AND in your very own style.

2. Post the artwork in your gallery and note me the link thereto (or, if you prefer, post it in my front page in the comments section) and I will promptly feature the thumbnail image of your artwork in my journal.

Simple, no?

Note that this is not a contest and there will be no voting, judging or awarding of prizes. We will do this in the spirit of cosmic fun.

Period of submission:

I will keep the entries in my journal for one more week thereafter.
